Paul Denayer joined Prolupin in 2021 and has more than 21 years of experience in general and financial management positions in Fast Moving Consumer Goods companies. His strengths are a strategic mindset and the outside-in perspective.

Prolupin is a Spin-off at Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging (Fraunhofer-Instituts für Verfahrenstechnik und Verpackung (IVV)) and created the brand Luve based on blue sweet lupine.

The future of plant protein supply is growing on our doorstep: the sweet lupine. Many know it only as a flower, but its seeds are among the most protein-rich food plants around. Prolupin developeds food ingredients from the blue sweet lupine.

Dr. Martin Kussmann is the Chief Scientific Officer at Nuritas. Biochemist by training, he has accomplished a 30-year career at the private/public research interface with experience in food, pharma, and biotech. He held professorships at EPF Lausanne, Switzerland; Aarhus University, Denmark; and Auckland University, New Zealand, where he was also Scientific Director of the National Science Programme on Food Innovation. Dr Kussmann’s research has focussed on translational human studies in nutrition and health.
